Desert safari in Dubai!

We stayed 4 days in Dubai and saw many things. On the last night we went to a desert safari to celebrate Kaio’s birthday.

It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!

First we were picked up by our guide at our apartment and drove to the desert. During the ride the driver asked us questions, told us about Dubai, and told many funny jokes. When we arrived at the desert, Kaio got to drive a quad bike, he had a blast! After that we went far into the desert and did a sand dune bashing and stopped to take pictures. We also stopped on top of a dune and did sand boarding. You could sit on the sand board or you could stand. I stood the first time and hurt my bottom. My dad and brother had fun and kept going! At the end many of the cars stopped to take pictures but we kept left to go to the camel riding. We rode the camels for about 15 minutes. They are gentle and amazing animals that make funny noises during our ride. We really liked riding on them! After the camel riding we went into the camp and did some activities like:

• Henna: this is a type of paint that dries after about 30 minutes and doesn’t stay forever but is like a tattoo. The patterns are flowers and stripes and very unique. The same paint might result in different tones of brown on your skin, depending on where it’s painted.

• Shesha: this is a Arabic flavored smoking that comes in many different flavours, and only for adults. Mommy & Daddy tried it!

• Falcon holding

• Baby camel feeding

• Regional BBQ diner and dessert

At the end of our activities there was some shows including:

• Spinning man

• Extreme fire show

• Belly dancing

At the end of the belly dancing Kaio got to go on the stage because of his birthday!!!! He also learned some belly dancing skills!!!

The 7 hours that we stayed there were definitely worth it!!! We loved the camels and had a great experience!!!!!
